TALOS
Digital Entrepreneurship in STEM Education, enabled by Artificial Intelligence
TALOS strengthens AI-enabled STEM entrepreneurship capacity by embedding digital entrepreneurship education, startup support tools, collaborative platforms, TTO/KTO workflows, and KIC-aligned venture pathways under Topic 1.
Selected under Topic 1: EIT-HEI-2025-STEM-CAPACITY-BUILDING, TALOS supports Higher Education Institutions in turning STEM education and research into stronger innovation and startup outcomes. The project focuses on digital entrepreneurship enabled by Artificial Intelligence, with application areas including fintech, envitech, agritech, healthtech, govtech, and related deep-tech domains.
At the centre of TALOS is a combined education and digital infrastructure model. The project will develop practice-oriented entrepreneurship content for STEM students, researchers, academic staff, and non-academic staff, covering opportunity discovery, market fit, ethical and regulatory considerations, data and business strategy, go-to-market planning, IP, financing readiness, and AI-supported business development.
TALOS will also deploy a set of AI-enabled entrepreneurship support tools. These include AI mentors for pitch decks and business plans, expert analysers for legal, compliance, competition, market, finance, and operational questions, and AI-assisted creation tools for branding, marketing, KPI design, and investor-readiness materials. These tools are supported by a TALOS Collaboration Platform and Training Platform, creating a structured environment for learning, mentoring, startup idea development, ecosystem engagement, and knowledge sharing.
Through international ideathons, hackathons, startup competitions, summer schools, mentoring, funding guidance, and regional ecosystem partnerships, TALOS aims to create repeatable pathways from STEM learning and research ideas to startup development and market validation. By aligning with 28DIGITAL, EIT Climate-KIC, EIT Food, and EIT Health, the project connects AI-enabled entrepreneurship education with Europe’s digital, climate, food, and health innovation priorities.
