AURORA seizmic KIC – Social Entrepreneurship through Strategic KIC Integration
AURORA seizmic KIC strengthens social entrepreneurship across the AURORA Alliance by connecting AI-enabled mentoring, KIC resources, venture pathways, and EIT labelling under Topic 2.
Selected under Topic 2: EIT-HEI-2025-BUILDING-SYNERGIES, AURORA seizmic KIC supports the AURORA European University Alliance in building a more structured innovation pathway for social entrepreneurship. The project connects existing alliance-wide education activities with EIT KIC resources, AI-enabled mentoring, and university incubator and accelerator pathways.
At the centre of the project is the seizmic APP, an existing digital tool for social entrepreneurship education. AURORA seizmic KIC will expand the APP into a shared AI-enabled mentoring environment, giving students and early-stage founders access to structured guidance on social entrepreneurship, impact logic, business model development, and innovation pathways. The AI mentor will be aligned with EIT Digital’s responsible and human-centred AI principles and will integrate relevant KIC resources.
The project will also connect incubators and accelerators across the AURORA Alliance, helping STEM students form cross-disciplinary venture teams with students from business, law, and related fields. By linking education, mentoring, venture support, and EIT labelling, AURORA seizmic KIC aims to create a durable bridge between European University Alliances and the EIT ecosystem.
