C-VENTURE

Selected under Topic 2: EIT-HEI-2025-BUILDING-SYNERGIES, C-VENTURE supports the CIVIS European University Alliance in developing a more connected, permanent, and scalable approach to academic entrepreneurship. The project focuses on transforming fragmented local initiatives into a shared alliance-wide ecosystem for innovation, entrepreneurship, research valorisation, and third-mission engagement.

At the centre of the project is the C-VENTURE Sandbox, a Digital Twin-based virtual environment where stakeholders can simulate business strategies, funding scenarios, market-entry decisions, and cross-border expansion models. This gives students, researchers, staff, start-ups, and ecosystem partners a structured space to test ideas before moving them into real-world implementation.

C-VENTURE also develops the C-VENTURE I&E Ecosystem and C-VENTURE Academy. These components strengthen entrepreneurship support structures, KTO/TTO capabilities, research-to-market pathways, and entrepreneurial training across the alliance. The Academy will include learning blocks aligned with 28DIGITAL and EIT Urban Mobility, covering deep-tech, AI entrepreneurship, mobility innovation, and challenge-based learning. Through institutional dialogue, KIC engagement, and transferability planning, C-VENTURE aims to establish CIVIS as a stronger bridge between university-based innovation, regional ecosystems, and the wider EIT community.
