EUCLID
Entrepreneurial Universities driving/fostering CLimate Innovation & Digitalisation
EUCLID strengthens EPICUR’s alliance-wide innovation capacity by connecting entrepreneurship education, EIT Label-aligned learning, Lab-to-Market acceleration, vertical incubation, and structured KIC cooperation under Topic 2.
Selected under Topic 2: EIT-HEI-2025-BUILDING-SYNERGIES, EUCLID supports the EPICUR European University Alliance in building a more permanent and operational education-to-innovation pipeline. The project aims to connect innovation and entrepreneurship learning, research-to-market support, venture acceleration, and regional ecosystem engagement into a shared alliance capability.
At the centre of EUCLID is the EUCLID Innovation Academy, an alliance-wide learning offer for students, researchers, academic staff, and non-academic staff. The Academy will deliver practical, challenge-driven innovation and entrepreneurship training, helping participants develop competences that can be applied across digital, climate, and health-related innovation contexts.
EUCLID also develops an EIT Label-aligned non-degree education pathway and a Lab-to-Market acceleration pipeline. Through hackathons, acceleration cycles, mentoring, investor-readiness support, demo days, and pilot awards, the project will help promising teams move from learning and research outputs toward market-facing development. By working with 28DIGITAL, EIT Climate-KIC, and EIT Health, EUCLID aims to turn EPICUR into a stronger bridge between university-based talent, regional ecosystems, and the wider EIT innovation community.
