INNO-STEM BRIDGE
Building Sustainable Innovation Ecosystems and Fostering Deep Tech Entrepreneurial Talents in STEM
INNO-STEM BRIDGE strengthens STEM innovation capacity by embedding entrepreneurship and IP learning, demand-led co-creation, Lab-to-Market acceleration, TTO/KTO professionalisation, and KIC-aligned deep-tech pathways under Topic 1.

Selected under Topic 1: EIT-HEI-2025-STEM-CAPACITY-BUILDING, INNO-STEM BRIDGE supports Higher Education Institutions in becoming more connected “STEM innovation engines.” The project focuses on turning STEM education, research, and technical expertise into validated solutions, start-ups, spin-offs, and long-term university–industry collaboration.
At the centre of INNO-STEM BRIDGE is a stage-gated Lab-to-Market pathway. Participants first build innovation, entrepreneurship, and IP competences through EntreComp-aligned training. They then work on real industry and public-sector challenges through co-creation and hackathon cycles. The strongest teams can progress through a Golden Ticket mechanism into structured acceleration, venture mentoring, soft-landing, and investor-readiness support.
The project also strengthens institutional research-to-market capacity through a TTO/KTO Manager Programme, Community of Practice, UA–EU twinning, and practical commercialisation playbooks. A dedicated Women-Led track and Women Innovators Support Desk/Unit are designed to make the venture pathway more inclusive and progression-oriented. By aligning with 28DIGITAL and EIT Manufacturing, INNO-STEM BRIDGE connects STEM talent development with digital deep tech, AI-enabled innovation, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, industrial digitalisation, and Industry 5.0 priorities.
