KIC Showcase: Good practice examples of education and training in innovation and entrepreneurship

On 20 January 2022, the EIT HEI Initiative will hold the KIC Showcase. In this virtual event, the EIT’s Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) will present projects that demonstrate good practice examples of education and training in innovation and entrepreneurship.

The featured projects will be linked to the various societal challenges that the KICs are aiming to address, from climate change and sustainable energy to healthy living and food. The good practices will be organised in four domains that underpin the activities within the EIT’s HEI Initiative:

• Fostering institutional engagement and change;
• Strengthening partnerships (knowledge triangle integration);
• Contribution to developing innovations and businesses;
• Enhancing the quality of innovation and entrepreneurial education.

In their presentations, speakers will put special emphasis on scaling and replicating the innovation and training programmes. The KIC Showcase will also feature a talk from Simon Brown, CEO at P2T Consulting Ltd, on the topic of institutional change for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The event will be moderated by Dr Emma Harris, Interim Head of the EIT’s HEI Initiative.
